The Commission Process
A transparent, step-by-step journey from initial sketches to the final polishing of your bespoke glass art.
01. Consultation
We explore your ideas, functional requirements, and the environment where the glass will be displayed. This dialogue establishes scale, design intent, and structural considerations.
02. Design & Color Selection
We provide conceptual sketches and custom color samples. You will see how different glass compounds react to natural and artificial light before we finalize the palette.
03. The Forge
The physical creation takes place in our hot shop. The raw materials are gathered, colored, and shaped at over a thousand degrees. Depending on the project scale, you may be invited to watch the blowing process live.
04. Annealing & Delivery
The piece cools slowly in an annealer over several days to ensure lasting structural integrity. Afterward, it receives its final cold-work polish before secure delivery and installation guidance.
